The USA's Senior Men's National Team lost its first International game since 2006 to Australia in an exhibition Down Under in preparation for the FIBA 2019 World Cup in China.

The Cayman Islands Basketball Association (CIBA) in collaboration with Port Arthur Texas announced the inaugural Cayman Basketball Festival which will be held from July 18-20.

USA won a historic double at the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup 2019 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on June 3-7, 2019. No team has previously won this competition with both men and women in the same edition

The Women's Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2019 will be inducted Saturday, June 8. Seven basketball greats are being welcomed to Knoxville, as the 21st class of inductees of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.

The Under-19 Men's National Program was on display during a Showcase event at CedarBridge gym on Saturday, June 1.  The game was played against BBL team Pembroke Skyforce who are currently in second place.

The NBA Finals is set with the Toronto Raptors making their first appearance against the two-time defending champion Golden State Warriors, who are making their fifth straight Finals appearance.

Members of the BBA's Under-19 National Team Program are busy preparing for the Cayman Sports Festival which gets underway in mid- July. The Festival incorporates both basketball and boxing.

The BBA's Under-19 Men's team will be competing in a 4 team basketball tournament at the Cayman Sport Festival in July.

Following updates by the BBA's IAC to the MAP system, FIBA has finally approved players licenses for Steveland Brown-Darrell, Jaren Haley, Kameron James, and Kevin Stephens. 

After rallying to erase a 9 point first-half deficit and force OT, the Medicine Hat Rattlers fell just short of the comeback for bronze with a 107-104 loss to the University of Alberta Augustana Vikings.

The Medicine Hat Rattlers fell 112-96 to the SAIT Trojans Friday in the ACAC Championship semifinal game at Lloydminster, relegating them to a bronze medal contest against Augustana.

Kobe Bryant was in Shenzhen, China for the three-day celebration of the Fiba World Cup capped by the 2019 Fiba World Cup draw and the Los Angeles Lakers legend was at front and center of it all.

Tim Trott and Gavin MacKenzie, members of the BBA's International Affairs Committee (IAC) recently completed training with the FIBA Management And Information Platform (MAP) system. This training was not available to most National Federations until 2019.

Caelin Peters led the Plymouth-Whitemarsh Colonials with 36 points in a 90-86 losing effort to Deuce Turner and Malvern Prep in the John Salmons Classic.

Kieron Burgess etched his name into the ACAC record books on Saturday night. Against Ambrose University Lions, he grabbed 31 rebounds (24 def.) setting a pair of ACAC records while also exploding for 41 points to help the Medicine Hat College Rattlers to a 109-61 win.
